SHRIMP Workshop 2018
The RSES SHRIMP Team has joined the SHRIMP comunity in South Korea for 9th SHRIMP Workshop.

November 2017
New Cup Amplifier for RG
New faraday cup amplifier has been installed on our SHRIMP RG. The new cVar replaces very old Keithley; so long.
October 2017
SHRIMP SI Cryo Pump Installed
Finally the new cryogenic pump is in place and working on SHRIMP SI. First attempt resulted in excess vibration being transmitted to the sample stage. Modified bellows and some heavy weights finally did the trick.
SHRIMP SI Upgrade January 2017
Our SHRIMP SI is being upgraded. The ion pump is being replaced by a cryogenic pump. Racks, hoist, source slit motor controllers are being replaced by new DMC cards.
SHRIMP Workshop 2016
The 8th SHRIMP Workshop was be held in Granada, Spain.

John Foster celebrates 50 years at ANU
On May 28th John Foster celebrated 50 years at ANU. While John graduated as a chemist, Most of his time at ANU has been spent tinkering with SHRIMPs (and running, and tinkering with Landrovers). The School had a special morning tea for John with reflections on his career by Trevor Ireland and Bill Compston.

Another year gone. More and more work being done on SI. Plans are being put in place for new development this year!

December 2011
Apart from some awesome sulphur data from SHRIMP SI, we have celebrated the end of the year with Earth Chemistry party here in the SHRIMP building.

Today the SHRIMP Group is celebrated three major milestones:
- Decommissioning of SHRIMP I (after 30 years of service)
- Commissioning of SHRIMP SI (at least we have the first data from it)
- Bill Compston's 80th Birthday
